On February 25, 2015 at the 16th Annual Northeast Ohio Dairy Conference, Dr. Richard Wiley was presented with the Ohio Veterinary Medical Association's Distinguished Service Award. This award is given yearly to three veterinarians for their contributions to the veterinary community.  Dr. Wiley's involvement with OVMA's newly established Bovine Health Task Force, along with his positions held within the American Association of Bovine Practioners contributed to him receiving this award. In a statement during the award ceremony from past OVMA President Dr. David Koncal "Dr. Wiley's service to veterinary medicine has helped change the landscape of bovine health in Ohio."  New Pittsburg Large Animal Clinic would like to thank Dr. Wiley for his continuous efforts to improve veterinary medicine, and extend its congratulations on receiving this award.
