2022 Ohio Veterinarian of the Year

At the 2023 Ohio Veterinary Medical  Association's Midwest Veterinary Conference, Dr. Brad Garrison was awarded the 2022 Ohio Veterinarian of the Year award. This award, is considered to be the Ohio Veterinary Medical Association’s highest honor.

Dr. Garrison is highly involved within the veterinary community, having served as the Ohio Veterinary Medical Association president in 2015.  Prior to becoming OVMA president, he had an active roll on a number of OVMA's committees. He has volunteered at the Ohio Veterinary Medical Association's Veterinary Education Center at The Ohio State Fair, and is a longtime member of the Killbuck Valley Veterinary Association.

In addition to the many hats that he wore while working and participating in the variety of veterinary organizations, Dr. Garrison played a vital role in the development of the dairy cattle standards for the Ohio Livestock Care Standards Board  that was established in 2009.

We would like to congratulate Dr. Garrison on this achievement and we couldn't be any prouder!

Congratulations Brad!
